I mean, can we choose not to fall for anyone? Or anything for that matter.

We can try, and they'll say, 'You're not true to yourself' .

What an accusation. But I guess they're true.

Are they?

Maybe they just didn't understand.

We lied to ourselves simply because things will be so much better, maybe.

Maybe because being true is not good enough.

And lying is the only option.
